Triple Optics is the Amsterdam-based visual research lab and production studio of Erik de Hart (aka XZK1MO). Digging through vast, dusty echoes of visual history and reassembling forgotten fragments into stories and compositions that pulse with new life.
Most of the time analog printmaking and physical collage form the tactile foundation of my work — a human terrain of texture, friction, and material presence. From this raw substrate, the process moves into the digital realm, where intuition meets structure. There, I am able to shape the information architecture with precision, clarify the visual hierarchy, and guide the narrative as it unfolds.
These systems scale across formats — from illustrations, publications to large-scale exhibition installations. History mostly functions as the base material; the work transforms it into a new experience.
